Sanitas is a Swiss health insurance company with headquarters in Zurich. Sanitas Health Insurance is active throughout Switzerland and offers health and daily allowance insurance for illness and accident for private customers and companies. Sanitas has various insurance models such as telemedicine, GP, HMO and pharmacy models.
I can only recommend Sanitas. I've been with them for years and everything has always worked out. The important thing is to have the right VVG supplements and to pay the premiums on time would be an advantage for all those who only ever complain 😊
The insurance advisor, Mrs Yvonne Etter, was very courteous and gave me very detailed information. Sanitas may be expensive, but you're well insured.
Me and my family are all insured with Sanitas. It's not exactly the cheapest insurance, which is why I'm deducting one star. Otherwise we've always been very satisfied! The customer service is friendly and responds quickly. Never had any problems so far.
The staff are very polite and helpful. In our experience, refunds are made after 5-10 days, usually within the 7 days that Sanitas has promised. The Sanitas customer portal is very simple, fast and customer-friendly. I can only recommend Sanitas!
I received excellent and very professional service at the head office in Zurich. Mrs Popova was very helpful and was able to answer all my questions to my satisfaction. It would be nice if all insurance companies had such good and motivated employees. Many thanks for that.
I had several questions about the payment process, reclaims, prevention, help with emergencies abroad, premium reductions, etc. Mrs Keranovic answered all the questions extremely competently and said for 2 questions that she would make sure or get more information. Shortly afterwards she called me back with another friendly, competent and detailed answer. I am very satisfied and will make a note of the employee's name for any future concerns and questions.
So far I have not had an insurance claim and so far I have only had positive experiences, e.g. the quick reimbursement for the gym. I hope I never have to confirm the many very bad reviews here
I am absolutely satisfied! The services are very good and so is the service. If I have something urgent, I write a short e-mail asking for a call back and I always get a very quick response! Thank you very much for this great service. :)
My mum has been insured with Sanitas for years. I can only say one thing: the service is first class in every respect. The staff are always helpful and compassionate, which is much appreciated, especially in emergency situations. I can only say 1 A. This is my personal, honest opinion.
In my experience so far, this health insurance company has been the best of the cheaper ones. Enquiries were answered relatively quickly and, apart from one case, I received payment for all benefits. Overall, I would describe this insurer as uncomplicated.
I have been a Sanitas customer for years and am very satisfied with the service. Repayments are very quick and unbureaucratic. The customer advisors are always very nice. Sanitas does have higher premiums for many products than certain (cheap) health insurance companies, but quality has its price. So far I have no reason to complain. I also find the way Mr Brühwiler and Mr Lienhard respond to social media reviews exemplary. It's always professional! As long as I and my family can afford it, we'll remain loyal Sanitas customers.
I have been a customer for a long time, but the customer service is a disaster. My spouse and I have been upset for 2 months. I am so disappointed.
I switched from Helsana to Sanitas years ago and haven't regretted it for a single day. Due to a protracted illness I have to deal with Sanitas customer service time and again. I am always treated very politely and very humanely and have never had any problems with anything. I can recommend Sanitas to anyone and thank them for the great service.
Sanitas is a good and solid health insurance company. We are satisfied. The only thing I would have to criticise is the speed of repayment of benefits. On their homepage they advertise that 90% of invoices are refunded within 7 days. They have not yet achieved this. I suspect, however, that this is a case of a numbers game. They do pay 7% of invoices within 90 days. That's how it becomes a shoe. But everything else is easy.
Service quality has unfortunately deteriorated. I have been a loyal customer for many years and have simply paid regular premiums. Now I have claimed a VVG benefit and it has simply been rejected. On the phone, the lady tells me you have a reservation, I'll pass you on. Afterwards I was put on hold for 20 minutes and then simply hung up. I think it's a real shame to have such a customer experience, it has nothing to do with customer orientation. Definitely not recommended
Our whole family is insured with Sanitas. We are very satisfied, the invoices submitted are settled quickly. If we have any queries, they are always very competent, prompt and very friendly.
I've been with Wincare since I was a child. It was taken over by Sanitas. At first I had doubts, but now after several years I have to say that we always get our money very quickly. If something is wrong, it's rectified immediately. Customer-friendly and fast. Many thanks

Very bad customer service, had to call x times in the last 6 months for the same problem. Each time I was assured that it would work from now on! but unfortunately this is not the case to this day!
